The End of Conversations From The Web?

We had an excellent run of Conversations From the Web. The Fringe can be a struggle for numbers, especially with a virtually unknown theatre company and a start time of 6:30 but we managed to bring in an audience each night and they seemed to enjoy the play. See a few twitter reviews below:

The funniest moment I (as the writer) experienced was hearing someone say “I feel strange that the play is about how we are always on our phones and I've been watching it and using my phone throughout.” This is the exact reaction I'd like. It IS ironic that we encourage you to Tweet us during the show. It IS strange. But we all do this every day—we use the Internet/our phones for communication without really communicating anything. We keep up with important information without really being informed. This is the world we live in. This is what my generation deals with. This is why I wrote the play. :)

As for critical reaction, we have had a review (click here) of 3.5 stars! More reviews to follow.

This is our first piece of new writing and like many pieces, it is still growing. We are planning on raising funds to take a version of it to Edinburgh next year. If you'd like to see how the journey of Conversations From the Web goes, keep checking back as we will post more updates as we get them. We are listening to the feedback from critics, audience members, and importantly, our cast, and workshopping it specifically for taking it up there. We are already working on another run in London and we will keep you all updated!
